Sport Manitoba has announced they will be officially opening the new Canada Games Sport for Life Centre, located at 145 Pacific Ave on Tuesday July 11, 2017. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place in the gymnasium at 8:15 am.
The gymnasium space is already being used by the Manitoba Provincial Team programs and has been for the last few weeks. The facility will sports 3 full FIBA sized hardwood basketball courts, 14 basketball hoops with square glass backboards (that can be set from 8-10 feet), scoreboards, shot clocks, a 40-foot ceiling, and upper level track, flex training spaces and more.
