Jr. NBA/WNBA League:
- For boys and girls 11-14U
- Aimed at higher level and community league players seeking extra competition and training
- Competitive, inclusive, and affordable
- Follows community league traditions with fair play, games, and bi-weekly practices
- Represent NBA & WNBA teams!
Key Dates:
- Tryouts: Sept 21, 2024 @ Sport for Life Centre (11-12 Boys, 13 Boys @9:15 AM & 14 Boys, 11-14 Girls @10:30 AM)
- Draft: Sept 28, 2024 @ U of Winnipeg (10 AM)
- Season Opener: Oct 19th & 20th.
WMBA Community League:
Join the WMBA Community League, a city-wide basketball program promoting fun and safety for young athletes. Teams are formed based on Community Centre areas, and the league runs from October to March.
- Ages 7-8: Co-ed, 3v3 cross-court games, 1 game/week (Saturdays) + practice
- Ages 9-10 Boys & Girls: 3v3 cross-court games, 1 game/week (Saturdays) + practice
- Ages 11-17 Boys & Girls: 5v5 full-court games, 1 game/week (Sundays) + practice
Fees include a $285 WMBA membership + Community Club fees (vary by district).

JNYB Development Program:
Get your child started in basketball with our fun and engaging development program! (Various locations and dates across the city)
- Cost: $160 (Volunteer Parent Coaches) (Ages 5-6)
Includes a 10-week program, 1 session/week, jersey, and ball. - Cost: $200 (Led by Student-Athletes) (Ages 7-12)
