The Pam Danis Sports Academy is proud to announce its fall and
winter developmental basketball league for 2006-07. The program will be
run Sunday’s only at the Investors Group Athletic Centre at the
University of Manitoba.

Program Highlights
- 15 hours per term of quality instruction
- Each session will include the following: 15 minutes-basic movement skills; 45 minutes-basketball skill development; 15 minutes-league play
- Access to Winnipeg’s premiere basketball facility• T-shirt and water bottle
- Reversible jersey and shorts
Program Director Pam Danis has been playing and coaching basketball in Manitoba for over 22 years. As a player, Pam captained the University of Winnipeg Wesmen to three CIS National Championship Gold medals and a North American record 88 game winning streak. As a coach, she is currently the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Manitoba. During her five year tenure, her team has been consistently ranked in the CIS top 10 and she has graduated several players who are now contributing to their community through teaching, coaching and volunteer work. Pam has also taught in the public and private school systems and has both a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Education Degree.
“This program is aimed at developing youth through exposure to sport. The program is based on principles of active living and personal accountability, while promoting values such as confidence, work ethic, responsibility, discipline, leadership, and team work.”
