Canada Basketball announced today the schedules for the 2007 Women’s and Men’s National Team programs. The organization will be running a record seven different programming levels within the two genders. Highlights of the schedule include the women’s FIBA Americas Olympic Qualifier in Valdivia, Chile, the men’s FIBA Americas Olympic Qualifier in Las Vegas, NV, three FIBA age-group World Championships (U19 Men/Women, U21 Women), as well as a women’s and men’s entry in the 2007 FISU Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
The teams will train domestically at several
locations that generously support Canada Basketball by providing the use of
their facilities. The locations include
Humber College, Durham College, Wilfrid Laurier University, Simon Fraser
University, University of Toronto – Mississauga Campus, RIM Park, Columbia
Bible College( - BC ) and the Air Canada Centre.
