TORONTO — Canada Basketball will be hosting an open tryout for the
Senior and Development Men’s National Teams on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.
The purpose of the event is to identify athletes for potential
invitation to the Senior and Development invitational tryouts.

invitation to the Senior and Development invitational tryouts.
Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team will compete in the FIBA Olympic
Qualifying Tournament in Athens, Greece from July 14-20, and if
successful in qualification, the Beijing Olympics from August 10-24.
The tryouts will be held at Humber College in Etobicoke, Ontario.
Registration will take place on-site beginning at 5:30pm with the event
running from 6-9pm. All athletes must have Canadian citizenship to be
eligible for the tryout.
Athletes must state their intention to attend in advance by emailing tryouts@basketball.ca.
Athletes are also required to bring a printed and completed copy of the
below registration form on May 27 for on-site registration purposes.
