Lipenos Golf Tournament Set for July 19 at Kildonan Park

Lipeños Basketball League Inc is a non-profit Filipino sports organization in Manitoba.  Founded in October 2001, it mainly assists youth in our community to discover their potential in playing the sport of basketball. It has represented the Filipino community in many local, regional, and national tournaments in Canada and the U.S.A. 

Annually, we compete in the Filipino Basketball Association of North America Tournament hosted in cities across Canada and the United States.  This year, Winnipeg will be traveling to Glendale Heights, Illinois during the September long-weekend. Last year on our home court, our juvenile boys and men’s open teams were crowned champions and the senior men’s came in second. We would like to continue our success south of the border.  In preparation for this event, our fundraiser will be a golf tournament. 

It will be held on Sunday, July 19 at Kildonan Park Golf Course.



Our group has and will continue to enhance and cultivate their skills for as long as we have the support of people like you who believe and support our effort to be an ambassador of Philippine culture and heritage.
