The Winnipeg Minor Basketball Associations Annual General Meeting is set for Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010 at 7pm at Dakota Community Centre. All are invited to attend. The evening will consist of general league business, the announcement of the 2010 WMBA Foundation Scholarship recipients as well as the presentation of the 2010 Bruce Russell Coach of the Year Award. The AGM is taking place at Dakota Community Centre as it is home to the latest WMBA outdoor basketball court. The official Grand Opening of the Dakota CC outdoor court will be held before the WMBA AGM from 6:00 - 7:00 on the outdoor court. City Councilors Steeves and Swandell and MLA Theresa Oswald have been invited. Local news outlets have also been invited.
