It is estimated that more than two thirds of families in Swaziland, Africa live in poverty. As a result, many parents struggle to pay school fees and other educational costs. Challenged by this reality, Matt and Amanda Opalko of Winnipeg organized a fundraising 16-team basketball tournament called Hoops for Swaziland on June 4th and 5th.
