The voting membership at the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association's Annual General Meeting today voted down a motion to move all levels of high school basketball to play under the 30 second shot clock. The vote will see the shot clock remain at 24 seconds with an 8 second back court line as is for the 2010-11 high school basketball season. The original motion was moving that all levels of high school basketball, including Junior Varsity and Varsity (A to AAAA) change the time allotted for a team to shoot the ball to 30 seconds with a 10 second back court line limitation.
