Thanks to the University of Winnipeg for hosting the event, to the University of
Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba teams for making the night so successful!
Both teams won again this year. Many thanks to their opponents on the court who
represented 10 Colleges and Universities across Canada. A big thank you to the Manitoba
Association of Basketball Officials for volunteering their time to referee the games. We
are also grateful to all of the volunteers for helping make this year’s event such a great
success. Our thanks to everyone who came out to watch the games and enjoy a special
basketball evening filled with unusual energy and so many smiling young faces. In the
past two years the event has raised over $5000 to support heart research at St Boniface
Hospital and Basketballs for Inner City Kids!!
Our sponsors made it all happen – The Mayor’s Office of the City of Winnipeg, the
