Coaching Manitoba is pleased to present a Best Practices Coach
Mentorship Workshop. We will be presenting a variety of Mentorship
models currently being used by various sports in Manitoba with the
intent of assisting others in moving towards the development of a

Many coaches have positive memories of a special person who played an important role in their personal, professional and coaching development. That special person, most often someone older, was a source of support, inspiration, acceptance, and exposure to new drills, activities and ideas. Defining mentor, mentoring and mentorship is no easy matter, however we do know that there are currently several best practices that exist in Manitoba and we hope that this workshop will help others continue to expand how they can enhance coaching development through mentorship.
