Wesmen basketball player Amy
Ogidan is cutting her hair on Saturday so it can be used to make wigs
for cancer patients. Buzz Off Cancer is a head shaving/hair cutting event hosted by the
University of Winnipeg Wesmen at the Duckworth Center Saturday November 6. This event is in memory of Chanel Duncan. Chanel was many things
to many people including a charitable and giving person and die hard
Wesmen fan.
Chanel played for Lindenwoods Community club in the Minor League and
also in the Rising Stars League. You are invited to watch the University of Winnipeg Wesmen
take on the University of Calgary Dinos. Following the game players,
fans and volunteers will gather together and cut or buzz their hair for
cancer. All funds raised will be donated to the childhood cancer stream
