BU Putting up Some Great PrIzes at This Weekend's Final Home Games

As the Brandon Bobcats regular season winds down this weekend the ‘Cats want to give away some fantastic prizes to loyal fans.  The annual Bobcats raffle draw will be held Saturday night, at which time ticket holders will have the chance to win three great prizes. First prize is two WestJet tickets for any destination within Canada, from Uniglobe Clark Travel. Second prize is a 42” Panasonic television courtesy of Television City. Third prize is a spa gift-package from Pantages on Park Salon and Spa. Raffle tickets have been sold through-out the season. The winners will be notified by telephone and also have their winnings published on the Bobcats website.

 



All BU students who attended games throughout the season had their names entered into a draw, and on Saturday one of those names will be selected. At half-time of the men’s game on Saturday, the lucky student whose name was drawn will have the opportunity to shoot a basketball from half-court for free tuition. If the student makes the shot, his or her tuition will be free in the fall of 2011*.



The Bobcats will host rival Winnipeg Wesmen on both Friday and Saturday. Tip-off for the women’s game will be at 6:00 pm both nights while the men will play at 8:00 pm.

* Only undergraduate students returning for the Fall 2011 term are eligible. This award is not redeemable for cash. This award is for up to 15 credit hours to be applied to the Fall 2011 term.
