Basketball Manitoba will be launching another year of elite training with the Canada Basketball / Basketball Manitoba Centre for Performance Program. Coaches are being sought for both the male and female side to work with the Head Coaches of the Centre for Performance for the 2011-2012 season. The Center for Performance focuses on developing young, talented players in the province providing them with a solid foundation for future development. The program will run from the September 11th try-outs until early December before suspending on-court training for the school basketball season. The program will resume on-court training in the spring leading into the Basketball Manitoba Provincial Team Program. The Center for Performance is looking for high energy, motivated, and skilled coaches to help deliver the basketball curriculum supplied by Canada Basketball and Basketball Manitoba to young athletes. For details...This is an opportunity for additional coaching experience, as the selected coaches will be working with other motivated coaches as well as coaches from Canada Basketball.
Both experienced and newer coaches are encouraged to apply.
Coaches selected will be working from a curriculum supplied by Canada Basketball and Basketball Manitoba. A small honorarium will be provided.
