Basketball Manitoba is very proud to be hosting the 2011 17U and 15U Female National Championships this summer on August 1-6 in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre. In partnership with Canada Basketball and the University of Manitoba, the event features the top 250 female basketball players in the country at these ages. The same event for male athletes is being hosted out of Humber College in Toronto at the same time. Provinces travelling into Manitoba for the event include British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island plus the hosts from Manitoba. Canada Basketball has just released the dedicated websites for both championships which feature the full schedule, rosters, team photos, news and other updates. During each event, all games will be live video web-cast along with live stats on the tournament websites. All game results will be updated on Basketball Manitoba's Facebook and Twitter pages as well. To view the sites for each event...
