The 'All-Star H' women's team on Thursday night captured the Basketball Manitoba Summer League crown defeating the 'All-Stars 2' team 65-63 in overtime, in a hard fought final game. Anne Smith of the winning team was awarded league MVP. Congratulations to the two teams for an entertaining and well played finals. In the 3rd place game, the University of Manitoba edged out their cross town rivals the Wesmen 58-57. Cassy Ordonez led the Bisons with 12 points and Stephanie Kleysen put in 18 for the Wesmen in a losing cause. Thanks to all the teams that made up the 2nd annual BMSL!
