The 15U Manitoba Male Provincial Team captured the province's first medal at a National Championship since 2004 on Saturday night with a convincing win over Team Quebec at the Male National Championships in Toronto. Manitoba's Ben Miller had 14 points, eight rebounds and seven steals to lead Manitoba over Quebec in the bronze medal game. Ivan Paskvalin matched Miller's seven steals and also scored 13 while Joseph Medrano scored a game-high 19 points for Manitoba. In recognition for their outstanding play, Ben Miller and Joseph Medrano were both named to the All-Canadian First and Second All-Star Teams respectively.
