Basketball Manitoba is pleased to offer its support behind the upcoming 'Walk so Kids Can Talk' special event to help raise needed funds so that young people here and across the country will continue to have access to Kids Help Phone’s free, professional phone and online counselling services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Every day, Kids Help Phone’s professional counsellors hear from kids who are experiencing the cruelty of bullying, the loneliness of depression, the paralyzing fear of anxiety, or are feeling the pressures to succeed, compete, or conform. As one of the 40 communities across the country participating in the Walk so Kids Can Talk, Winnipeg will be hosting its walk on Sunday May 6 at the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre. How can you help?
