Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce that Michele Hynes of Winnipeg has been awarded one of two of the Canada Games Coaching Apprenticeship Project Scholarships! The program will officially add Michele to the coaching roster of the 17U Female Provincial Basketball Team program and connect her with the existing coaching staff in Don Thomson, Coleen Dufresne and Randy Kusano. She will be given access to a number of professional development and coach development opportunities heading into the 2013 Canada Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The scholarship is a cost shared program made possible through the partnership of the Canada Games Council, Sport Canada, Coaching Association of Canada, Coaching Manitoba and the 2013 Canada Summer Games Host Society.
