Big Country Basketball has announced details for its Summer Basketball Academy For Girls; August 17 – 19, 2012 at the University of Manitoba. The weekend training camp is a 3 day, 2 night residential basketball camp for all female athletes from grades 5 through 12. The Academy is an elite level program, which will help athletes get better in all aspects of their game, on and off the court. The purpose of the Academy is to help you understand the demands playing basketball at the next level. While most of your competitors will take a break this summer, here is the chance to step up and separate yourself from the competition and gain valuable exposure to University level coaches. Space is limited – with only 60 spots available. The full camp schedule and brochure will be available in the coming weeks. The camp fee is $325.00 for the residential program and $175.00 for the non‐residential program. All athletes will receive 15 hours of court training, additional classroom sessions, a BCB dry‐fit top. Snacks and meals will be included for the Residential Athletes, including supervised accommodations in one of the University Dorms.
