Basketball Manitoba is pleased to offer a new basketball coach education opportunity! The Basketball Coaching Seminars are a FREE opportunity for coaches to gather and discuss specific topics and techniques to allow coaches from all levels to gather informally to discuss specifics of the game. Each session, led by an experienced coach, will start at 6:30 P.M. and will be finished no later than 8:30 P.M. Each will focus on a specific topic and be interactive with coaches on the floor actually having the opportunity to do what is being discussed. The first four topics of this series will address individual and team offenses and defenses. Coach education is a priority for Basketball Manitoba. There was a time, years ago, when it was a regular occurrence for coaches to gather informally and discuss basketball. Now that people seem to be busier than ever, this seldom happens. The seminars will occur at Sargent Park School in Winnipeg on November 5, 6, 14 and 15 between 6:30 - 8:30 pm. There is NO COST to attend.
