SCHEDULES RELEASED: Johnson Waste Management and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg are pleased to announce details on the first ever Johnson Waste Management Invitational Basketball Tournament hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Winnipeg. The tournament will run October 12-14, 2012 at St. Paul's High School in Winnipeg and feature community based basketball teams at the age 14U Boys, 12U Boys and 12U Girls levels.



The tournament tips off Friday night on October 12 at St. Paul's High School and runs through to Sunday evening. All participating teams are competing in the event at no cost to the families in thanks to the outstanding support of Johnson Waste Management. Admission to attend the event is free with donations to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg gladly accepted at the door!



When released, the schedules will be posted on the Basketball Manitoba website.





SCHEDULES




The inaugural tournament has come to be under the tremendous support of
Winnipeg based Johnson Waste Management. Johnson Waste Management Ltd.
provides front-end loading and roll-off service to commercial and
municipal clients for collection and environmentally safe disposal of
solid, non-hazardous waste.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg has grown to
become one of the city's leading youth-serving agencies, operating in
areas across the city that need our services the most for over 35 years.
We operate 10 community-based Clubs and numerous youth development
programs to our members, and offer a safe alternative to the streets
during the evening and after-school hours. All BGCW activities are free
of charge, and are guided by professional staff and dedicated volunteers
who in 2011, served over 4,400 children and youth ages 6-18.
