After a long wait since closing at The Bay Downtown, the much-anticipated Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame opens Saturday, October 27, 2012 in its new location in the Sport for Life Centre, 145 Pacific Avenue. Join us from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for FREE admission into the brand new Hall of Fame. The decade galleries of sport will walk you through time. You'll see artifacts and memories of Manitoba's rich sport history, like the AVCO Cup and Clara Hughes' bike from the '96 Olympics. Many of Manitoba's sport heroes, from past and today, will be at the Grand Opening to visit and sign autographs. We'll have games and activities for all ages, along with free popcorn and drinks. Come down and be the first to see the new Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame!

The mandate of the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame is to recognize and honour those people who have made their mark in Manitoba's rich sports history through their activities and achievements.
