Canada Basketball President and CEO Wayne Parrish, Strongly Believes in the Dundas, Ontario native Given her wealth of knowledge and experience. "We are very excited to announce our next Lisa Thomaidis as Canadian Senior Women's National Team head coach. Lisa HAS integral role played year in the development of our nation's basketball players, both, as a national team assistant coach for the past 11 years and as the current head coach of the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS). Having Worked under the tutelage of successful national team coaches train Bev Smith and Allison McNeill, Lisa is ready to put her stamp on the program and continues icts momentum. "

After Completing her studies, Lisa honed her craft by playing professionally overseas in the highly-competitive Greek 1 st Division.
Lisa's time playing the game has translated into a strong understanding of the dedication and commitment Necessary to lead from the bench. While at the helm of the Huskies, the program HAS beens Consistently Ranked Amongst the top 10 teams in the nation. The four-time Canada West Coach of the Year and two-time CIS Coach of the Year Will Provide leadership and guidance in not only Developing players, goal aussi Fostering a strong team concept based on respect and responsibility, both, on and off the court.
The collective efforts of players, coaches and staff culminated in the SWNT's impressive run at the 2012 London Olympics, Lisa is now ready to build upon success and That Team Canada take to the next level.
