Three students at Gray Academy in Winnipeg have created a special B'nai Brith Youth Organization fundraising campaign in support of Cancer Care Manitoba and are seeking supporters to sponsor them with $1 per free throw made on May 13.  The students, Gil Binnun, Ben Waldman and Jeremy Short (3 Varsity Boys Basketball Players from Gray Academy) are putting together is a very simple way to raise money for CancerCare Manitoba. Each of the students have lost someone close due to Cancer and want to stand up for this cause and are calling upon the basketball community to support by hosting their own fundraisers in their school.  The event is very simple.  Before May 13, ask friends and family to pledge money based on the amount of free throws they make out of 25. So for example, if someone recieved a pledge for 1 dollar per made free throw and made 20/25 shots, they would receive 20 dollars to donate directly to CancerCare. It's encouraged to get as many pledges as possible and pledges can be in any amount in order to raise all the money you can to help the cause. In order to promote the event for the future and show support for Cancer Research, we are asking people to record and post videos of themselves shooting to show that they are shooting to make a difference.  Videos can be tweeted to @basketballmb or posted on the Basketball Manitoba Facebook page for others to see!  View a short video produced by the students explaining the program at...
