SCHEDULE RELEASED: The Sisler Varsity Girls`Basketball Team have announced it will be hosting a 12U and 17U Club Basketball Tournament Fundraiser, Friday May 3th to Sunday May 5th 2013. VIEW SCHEDULE Each tournament will have 8 openings so please accept this as an invitation to apply for a spot into the tournament.
Tournament Details:
Girls' 12U division:
- 3 game guarantee
- Current Fiba rules, 4 - 8 minute quarters, stop time.
- No 3 point line
- No Zone, man to man defense only but you can double on the ball
- Press up to 15 points.
The first match will be played Friday evening at 4:15 PM. Scorekeepers will be provided by the Sisler Varsity Girls' Basketball Team and officials will be certified junior referees. Player of the game awards will be handed out at each game, and tournament medals will be provided for the championship, finalist and 3rd place teams. Tournament cost is $225.00
Girls' 17U division:
- 4 game guarantee (Pool play + 1 playoff game)
- Curret Fiba rules, 4 - 10 minute quarters, stop time.
The first match will be played Friday evening at 4:15 p.m. Scorekeepers will be provided by the Sisler Varsity Girls' Basketball team and officials will be provided by Manitoba Association of Basketball Officials. Player of the game awards will be handed out at each game, and tournament medals will be provided for the championship, finalist and 3rd place teams. Tournament cost is $300.00.
