Winnipeg referee Reid Kenyon has received another world class referee assignment from FIBA by being one of only two Canadian referees to attend the the 2013 Summer Universiade Games in Kazan, Russia from July 7-16. The Games will feature male and female national student teams from around the world and will include teams from Canada. The Universiade is an International multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The Universiade is often referred to in English as the World University Games or World Student Games. Kenyon has received a number of other top level of assignments in the last 4 years attending world calibre events in Europe, Mexico and the USA.
