WEEK 3 results for the Basketball Manitoba Women's Summer League
Game 1 - Team Elite defeated the 17U girls provincial team in a close battle 60-55. This game came down to the final possessions and the experience of Team Elite paved the way to a win. Team Elite was led by Charmaine Walker with 17 points while Kyanna Giles led Team Toba with 17.
Game 2 - The University of Manitoba Bisons found their groove and put in a solid effort to defeat the Stars 69-45. Brittany Koop led the Bison attack with 21 points, while Kerilynn Macleannan paced the Stars with 21 as well.
Game 3 - The final game on the night saw the University of Winnipeg Wesmen in a strong performance, defeat the Juniors 74-43. Skylar Boulanger led the Wesmen with 14 points while former Wesmen star Amy Ogidan dropped in 13 points for the Juniors.
Next weeks games begin the back to back stretch of the league with Monday's game at the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre and then Tuesday's round 5 action is back on the South-end campus of University of Manitoba in the Investors Group Athletic Centre. All games tip off at 6:00pm with the 17U Provincial Team.
