The Basketball Manitoba Women's Summer League wrapped up Round 5 action tonight at the University of Winnipeg. Game 1 -The Elites beat a game 17U team in a close one 69-65. Michele Hynes scored 18 points for the victors while Kyanna Giles had a game hi 23 points. Game 2 - The Stars dominated the Juniors 98-64. Debbie Yeboah recorded a Summer League hi 38 points for the Stars while Alex Mac Iver had 18 points for the Juniors. Game 3 - In the battle of the city's two university programs the University of Winnipeg Wesmen defeated the University of Manitoba Bisons 88-66. Steph Kleysen dropped in 28 points for the Wesmen while the Bison's were led by Robyn Eyer with 18 points. Round 6 action tips off at 6:00pm next Tuesday, July 2 at the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Center.
