The 47th Annual Coca Cola Wesmen Classic will be taking place on Dec 27-30 at the Duckworth Centre. Tournament passes are now available online  for the low price of $25.00. In conjunction with the Classic the following events will be held prior to Dec 27. The Inner City Classic "A Celebration of Inner City Basketball" in Winnipeg (Dec 9-10), the adidas Jr. Varsity Classic (Dec 13-14). Purchase tournament passes and individual tickets online

47th Annual Wesmen Classic One Week Away

The 47th Annual Coca-Cola Wesmen Classic is now just one week away. The annual "Winnipeg Holiday Tradition" will take place from December 27 - 30 in the Dr. David F. Anderson Gymnasium inside the Duckworth Centre. Once again the Classic will feature eight university and eight of the top high school boy's teams from across the city. The Women's Basketball team is also highlighted in two games on Dec 28 and 29. The Junior Varsity Boys final takes place on the 27th.

Wesmen Classic tournament  passes are now on sale for only $25.00. Passes can be purchased online
 or at the Duckworth Centre Customer Service Desk (on December 27th at 9:00 a.m.)
If basketball fans can not make it down to the Classic in person, they can still watch every game from anywhere in the world via the internet. For a per game view as low as $2.75 enjoy a  live webcast including play by play. Webcast information will be available at www.wesmen.ca

Coca-Cola University Men's Classic
The University draw consists of the home town Winnipeg Wesmen and teams from Manitoba, Brandon, Regina, Ottawa, Lakeland College, and a pair of American schools Valley City State and Dickinson State. The University draw begins play on Saturday, December 28th and wraps up with the "Championship Final" on Monday, December 30th at 8:00 p.m.
High School Varsity Boys Wesmen Classic
The High School draw will once again feature eight teams from across Winnipeg. The two time defending Provincial and Wesmen Classic Champions, the Garden City Fighting Gophers will be joined by Kelvin, Oak Park, John Taylor, Sturgeon Heights, MBCI, Maples and the UW Collegiate team. The High School draw begins on Friday, December 27th and concludes with the Championship Final on Monday, December 30th at 6:00 p.m.
Women's Team In Action Along With JV Boy's Final

The adidas Junior Varsity Boys Final will take place on Friday, December 27th at 7:30 p.m. The game will feature the Garden City Fighting Gophers taking on the Maples Marauders.
Once again as an added feature to this years basketball extravaganza, will be the University of Winnipeg Wesmen Women's Basketball Team taking on the Dickinson State University BlueHawks in a pair of exhibition games. The first game will take place on on Saturday, December 28th at 10:00 a.m.. The second game will take place on Sunday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m.
Welcome to the 47th annual Wesmen Classic, a holiday tradition at the University of Winnipeg's Duckworth Centre. The 47th Annual Wesmen Classic begins with the Winnipeg Sun Inner City Abdul Jemei Memorial Classic on Dec 9 and culminates with the High School Boys and University Men's tournament from Friday, December 27 to Monday, December 30.
