The Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association has announced it will be hosting both a coach and player development weekend on January 31 to February 2, 2014 in Winnipeg. The opportunities include both an Introduction to Competition Coaching Clinic and open player's camp which is open to males and females with or without a physical disability.

Facilitators from Wheelchair Basketball Canada will lead the clinic, along with Coaches from Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association. Who:
- Individuals interested in coaching within the Competition stream of the new NCCP.
- This course is a pre-requisite to obtain Competition – Development, (along with Comp-Int Advanced) which is the requirement for Canada Games coaching eligibility (for those not previously Level 3 certified).
Cost:
- The fee to complete the course is $250 – Payable to Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association.
- All coach candidates are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
- Some costs may be recovered through previously approved 2013-2014 WBC Special Project Funding.
