The University of Winnipeg Wesmen and the Canada West Universities Athletic Association have announced that Men's Basketball player Steven Wesley has been selected as a first team Canada West Men's Basketball All-Star.
Wesley, a 6-6 forward from Spokane, Washington recently completed his fifth year of eligibility. He placed 7th in conference scoring averaging 17.3 points per game and placed 12th in rebounding grabbing 7.1 rebounds per game. A starter in all 22 regular sason and three playoff games, Wesley averaged 31 playing minutes per game this past season. He scored a season high 30 points against Calgary (November 9, 2013) and grabbed a season high 14 rebounds against Brandon (January 23, 2014). Wesley recorded four double-doubles during the 2013-2014 season.
