Winnipeg's Emily Potter of the University of Utah has been named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team after finishing third in the conference in blocked shots and seventh in field goal percentage.  Potter was picked to the All-Freshman Team finishing third in the Pac-12 statistics (103rd in NCAA) in blocked shots (1.4 per game) during the regular season.

Potter was also seventh in field goal percentage (.468, 130-279), 12th in defensive rebounds (4.8 drpg), tied for 17th in rebounding (6.5 per game) and 26th in the league in scoring (10.4 per game). She led Pac-12 freshmen in blocks, defensive rebounds and shooting, third in rebounds, and fourth in scoring. In Pac-12 games only, Potter ranked fourth in blocks (1.4 bpg), 12th in defensive rebounds (5.2 drpg), 15th in total rebounds (6.8 rpg) and tied for 29th in scoring (9.3 ppg).

Eleventh-seeded Utah will face sixth-seeded Washington (17-12, 10-8 Pac-12) the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament First Round on Thursday, Mar. 6 at 8:30 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Networks.
