The Winnipeg native is a well rounded student-athlete having competed at a high level in both basketball and track & field, while maintaining honour role status in school. Montana has competed nationally the past four summers (2010-2013) with Team Manitoba, which was capped off by a Bronze Medal at the 2013 Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, QB. In 2013 she was the MBCA AAA Female Basketball Player of the Year, AAA VG Champion in Volleyball & Basketball, Basketball Team MVP and the recipient of the Linden Christian School Outstanding Contribution to Athletics award. She also completed a mission trip to Guatemala last winter and remains heavily involved in her school community."We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Montana into the Bison Program" says Hynes.
