TOURNAMENT BRACKET
In 2013, the non-profit charity was established by Frendell Cano, Jerry Legaspi, and Johann Generao. When they created Winnipeg’s Got Sole, they had one goal – to give back to the community that
helped them grow up. In June 2013, Winnipeg’s Got Sole introduced the city to its first Sneaker Swap Expo, and has been an annual event since then. The charity has collected over 1000 pairs of shoes since its inception.
- Each team will have a maximum of four players and are guaranteed a minimum of two games.
- Instead of a registration fee, Just for Kicks asks that participants raise at least $55 for Winnipeg’s Got Sole. Just for Kicks will supply pledge forms.
- Participants must be at least 18+, however guests of all ages are invited to support Just for Kicks at Westgate Mennonite Collegiate.
- There are no gender restrictions and co-ed teams are encouraged.
- Participants in Just for Kicks also have the chance to enter the three-point competition.
- All proceeds will go directly to Winnipeg’s Got Sole to help fund in future events.
- All clothing/ outerwear/ shoes will be given to Winnipeg’s Got Sole for distribution.
