The University of Winnipeg Wesmen and the Canada West Universites Athletic Association have announced that men's basketball player Jelane Pryce has been selected as a Second Team Canada West Men's Basketball All-Star.
Pryce, a 6-7 forward from Innisfil, Ontario recently completed his fourth year of eligibility. He placed 14th in conference scoring averaging 16.1 points per game and placed 5th in blocks with 23. He was tied for the team lead in rebounds with 6.2 boards per game. Jelane scored a season high 32 points in a 77-67 victory over UBC (November 22, 2014) and grabbed a season high 14 rebounds against Saskatchewan (November 14, 2014). Pryce recorded five double-doubles during the 2014-2015 season.
