Fifty athletes (26 Cadette and 24 Junior) from across the country have been invited to participate in the Women’s National Age Group Assessment Camps at the University of Toronto, Mississauga and Humber College. Manitoba athlete Niyah Becker and coach Michele Hynes will be involved in the camp. The Cadette Assessment Camp will take place from March 28 to April 1 at Humber College, while the Junior Camp will be at the University of Toronto, Mississauga and Humber College from March 27-30.
The objective of this camp is to provide a national training environment with international focus to top identified athletes in a variety of age groups ranging from those born in 1996 and later. At the camp, National Team sport scientists, coaches and technical staff will identify athletes who will be invited to the next activity of the 2015 Cadette and Junior National Team programs.
