Congratulations go out to Manitoba's Emmanuel Akot in being named the Canada Basketball Player of the Week for the week of August 10! Emmanuel is coming off of being named a 1st Team All-Canadian at the recently completed Canada Basketball National Championships held last week in Winnipeg.
Emannuel was a member of Team Canada at the FIBA World Championships held in Spain in July helping Canada secure a 5th place finish. Emannuel is heading into his second year at Wasatch Academy in Utah later this fall.
