Winnipeg Spirit has announced that they will be holding tryouts for their 2006/2007 Youth All Star Team along with hosting a Mini Youth Basketball League this upcoming 2016-17 basketball season.

Mini Youth Basketball League
This is a skills development and training program with the goal of introducing the youth to play
structured games of basketball vs other players and teams from within the program.
- Registration is for youth boys and girls born in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and 2009
- Date: August 29 and August 31
- Time: 6PM to 7:30PM
- Location: North Centennial Recreation Centre, 90 Sinclair Street
- The program will run from mid-Sept to March 2017
