DEADLINE PASSED: Rick Torbett and Mike MacKay to Headline 2016 Basketball Manitoba Super Coaches Clinic Oct 21-22

DEADLINE PASSED: The deadline has now passed for this year's Basketball Manitoba Super Coaches Clinic. Coach check-in will occur at 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM on Friday and Saturday at the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre. All coaches who have registered have been emailed additional information on the weekend.

Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce that basketball coaches Rick Torbett of Better Basketball and Mike MacKay of Canada Basketball have been confirmed as the headliners for the October 21-22, 2016 Basketball Manitoba Super Coaches Clinic.  Coach Torbett was last in Winnipeg in 2012 and will present on his NEW Read and React system he has redeveloped since then.  Coach MacKay has recently returned from the 2016 Rio Olympics and will speak on the lessons learned with Team Canada.

Joining Rick and Mike will be local university coaches Mike Raimbault and Kirby Schepp along with Dakota College coach Brock Lemon and Basketball Manitoba Technical Director Dan Becker.  Early Bird cost to register is $90 for one day or $115 to come to both days (before October 1).  Cost to register is $100 for one day or $125 to come to both days (deadline Oct 19 October 20 at 12 pm).  All WMBA / MBL Coaches can register at no cost as the WMBA is covering all costs to attend.
