Berens River First Nations Sisters Robyn and Skylar Boulanger and members of the University of Winnipeg Wesmen have been recruited to play with the Alberta Plains Lady Warriors at the World Indigenous Basketball Challenge August 8-12 in Vancouver. Competition from around the world includes WNBA player Shoni Schimmel and former 2008 Australian Olympian Rohanee Cox. Games will be held through out the week at UBC War Memorial Gym.
