USPORTS (formerly known as CIS) has announced a new process for all prospective student-athletes who want to be considered by a university to basketball in Canada at that level, called USPORTS Central. All prospective athletes will now need to register with USPORTS on their website to be considered a recruit in the system including the Brandon Bobcats, Manitoba Bisons and Winnipeg Wesmen basketball programs. There is a one-time registration fee of $50 CDN.
In all sports, registration will be required prior to signing a Letter Of Intent or participating for that university.
