REMINDER: NBA Shooting Coach Dave Love is seeking Manitoba communities which may be interested in hosting one of his basketball shooting clinics during spring break in 2018. The Love of the Game provides grassroots level basketball shooting instruction for ages 11+ across Canada.
The curriculum run by The Love of the Game is designed by NBA Shooting Coach Dave Love to introduce players to solid basketball shooting fundamentals in a fun and non-threatening environment. The Love of the Game teaches the same ideas that Coach Love uses with his NBA clients that have included Aaron Gordon, Tristan Thompson and Bismack Biyombo.The Love of the Game is coming back to Manitoba at the end of March with a renewed focus on the small communities that may not always get direct access to high level coaching. The clinics will be directed by Shooting Coach Jamie Brown, a former college player and long time assistant coach to NBA Shooting Coach Dave Love. Coach Brown has been running clinics for hundreds of
players in Alberta, and is excited to bring The Love of the Game back to Manitoba.
Players will be taken through each part of their body and educated on how it affects their shooting mechanics. Our goal is for the players to truly understand how their shot works, what to do to shoot the ball more effectively, and why to do it.If you are a coach or coordinator in a town of 2000 people or more, with a solid basketball community, we would love to do a 3 hour clinic for you on the week of March 26-30.
