The Providence University Pilots has announced that Demar Kraus has committed to the Pilots men’s basketball team for the 2018-19 season. A top graduating shooting guard from Sturgeon Heights, Demar also played for Junior Bisons. Demar comes to Providence with a few outstanding awards such as Provincial Champion and Club Nationals All-star award.
Coach Dubreuil is looking forward to welcoming Demar to the team, he says Demar is "an individual player with a lot of passion for the sport and desire to improve his skills".
On top of basketball, Demar is passionate about football and volunteering at day camps. Demar says, “I am very excited to start the season at Providence and would like to continue my basketball career and improve on and off the court in the best ways possible.”
Demar was one of the original recipients of the Donovan Gayle Scholarship presented back in April at the Basketball Manitoba Awards (pictured to the left).
Pilots men’s basketball season begins in 3 weeks.
