Dear Canadian Basketball Officials,
We are excited to launch our new platform on Game Plan dedicated to official’s education in Canada. In this email, we have included a detailed guide on how to register for a Game Plan account (click here)
Over the next couple of months, we will continue populating the free and full versions of Game Plan with more resources and tools for our officials to access. We are also still in the process of developing the French side of Game Plan and we will notify everyone once it has been completed.
2018 FIBA Rules Exam
The 2018 FIBA Rules Exam will be delivered for officials to write through Game Plan. The exam will be taking place from November 30th and closes on December 9that 5pm (EST). The exam is composed of 30 question for Prospect & NOCP 1 officials and 50 questions for NOCP 2,3,4 & 5 officials. Officials will have 2 hours to complete the exam.
A practice exam is currently available officials to take in preparation for the exam. A guide on how to access the practice exam is also included in this email (click here)
All officials will be required to create a Game Plan account in order to take the FIBA exam. We strongly encourage all officials to create their account and update their profile well in advance of the exam period. Exam support during this period will be available Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (EST). If you require support, please contact Riike Olasina at cboc@basketball.ca
Further details regarding this year’s FIBA Exam will be communicated to all officials within the next week.
