Professional basketball player Emily Potter has announced she will be hosting a basketball players camp targeting girls currently in grades 5-10 on April 27-28 at Glenlawn Collegiate in Winnipeg. The cost to attend the camp is $90.00. Details and how to register can be found below.

I am super excited to announce that I am hosting my first basketball camp in Winnipeg! I have been dreaming of doing this for years and I finally have the time and resources to make it happen this spring.I will be offering TWO different camps this spring to try to offer as many young girls the opportunity to learn the game from me while we have a great weekend together. For this first round of camps, I will only be offering my camp to GIRLS. Hopefully in the future, I’ll be able to do more age groups and offer to both boys and girls, but for now, I am going to stick to the gender and age levels that I have the most experience coaching.
I can’t wait to share my love of the game with some of the young ballers in this city. I have played basketball all over the world, but Winnipeg is the city that raised me and where I learned to play and fall in love with the game. My hope is that I can help coach some young ladies who will grow up to be great players, but even better people, AND ones who will one day surpass me in all they accomplish both on and off the court.
I CAN’T WAIT for this camp and I hope those that decide to sign up are just as excited as I am to spend the weekend getting better together.

BEGINNERS CAMP – open to girls in grade 5-8 who have little to no basketball experience
This camp is perfect for girls who want to try the sport out and learn the basics. Also good for girls who have just started playing basketball in their junior high schools and are considering playing club basketball and committing more time to the sport. It will be about having fun, and really gaining a good overall knowledge of the game. Come willing to LEARN, WORK HARD, and gain CONFIDENCE in yourself on and off the court.
SATURDAY APRIL 27 ~ 9AM – 12PM
SUNDAY APRIL 28 ~ 9AM – 12PM

ELITE CAMP – open to girls in grade 8-10 with 2+ years of basketball experience AND aspirations to play after high school
I wanted to run this camp to help girls wanting to take their game to the next level. We will go over the college skills they will need to be successful at the next level and what tools they can use to get themselves there. Be ready to be pushed mentally and physically. For serious ballers who already have a great love for the game.

COST OF THE CAMP IS $90
Camp fees will be collected by eTransfer, all done electronically. It is outlined in the camp sign up below.
EVERY CAMPER WILL RECEIVE:- 5 hours of on-court work
