UPDATED: DIVISION POOLS ANNOUNCED: Manitoba Basketball Club Championships Announced for Ages 13-19 on May 9-12, 2019

SCHEDULE TO BE RELEASED THURSDAY: Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce details on the 2019 Manitoba Club Basketball Championship set for May 9-12, 2019 in Winnipeg.  The 4-day event will involve male and female teams in the 13-19 age range. Deadline to register a team is Friday, April 19, 2019, at 4:30 pm Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 4:30 pm at a fee of $400 per team.  Discounted rates are offered for Manitoba teams based outside of Winnipeg.

At the 14U age level, the Manitoba Club Basketball Championships will be used as an official qualifier as part of the Jr NBA Global Championships.   The winning male and female teams from the 14U age 'A' division level will go on to play the Saskatchewan club winners on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Canada Games Centre.  The winners from there will move on to the Jr NBA Canadian Championships in Ontario with one male and one female Canadian winner going to the Jr NBA Global Championships.  All Head and Assistant Coaches at this 14U-A level must attend the NCCP Learn to Train Workshop set for April 12-14, 2019 in Winnipeg.

IMPORTANT NOTES...

1. If there are any errors (division assignment, team name, coach name, etc) please reply to this email no later than Monday, April 29th at 9:00 am to make any corrections.  
2. The final schedule will be out on our website by Friday, May 3.  We will email again once it is public.
3. The tournament will run May 9-12 at the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre, University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre, Dakota Community Centre Fieldhouse, and the Canada Games Sport for Life Centre.  Teams should expect to play at any location over the weekend and could play at multiple locations.
4. We require FULL payment from your team no later than Friday, April 26th at 9:00 am or risk not being scheduled.  The tournament fee is $400 per team.  The travel subsidy math is at https://www.basketballmanitoba.ca/2006/06/club-basketball-provincial-championships.html
5.
