Beth Cochran, who now lives in North Carolina, recently visited and toured our Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum along with her dad and his wife. Beth was inducted as a player in 1996. She was selected an All-Canadian in all five of her years with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen.
In the picture, she is presented with a Basketball Manitoba license plate by Ross Wedlake, Chair of our Hall of Fame and Basketball Manitoba president.
The license plates are available at any Autopac outlet in the province for $70.00. We need to reach the magic number of 1000 plates sold to receive a substantial rebate from MPI which would be of great addition to our Basketball for Life Fund. You can put the plates on your car, truck or motorcycle, you can gift them to another person or you can just keep them and mount them on a wall or in your garage. Please help us meet that goal. More information...
