The Providence Pilots Men’s Basketball Team has announced 6'4" guard from Langley, British Columbia has decided to play for the Pilots this fall. Coming from St. John Brebeuf High School, Owen shares his excitement of joining the Pilots by saying, "I am extremely excited for this upcoming year at Prov, and cannot wait to be learning either on the court or in the classroom. I look forward to training and doing my best to become a better basketball player and person through Providence."
Head coach Pierre Dubreuil had this to say about his newest recruit, "This recruiting class, we have been able to extend our network to BC. Owen is the third player from the west joining the Pilots roster for the upcoming season. He is a very passionate young man, and I feel like Owen has a great set of skills that are going to be useful to our team. Leaving your hometown for a new province can be challenging, but I believe that Owen is up for the challenge and ready to earn his wings in our program."
