Ashley has coached for over 12 years through Team Manitoba, high school, club, WMBA and Steven Nash Youth Basketball. For the last two summers, she has served as an assistant coach on the 17U Female Provincial Team. In 2019, Ashley was the assistant coach for the 16U Female Provincial Team, which competed at the Western Canada Summer Games. Ashley is currently the head coach of the Varsity Girls' team at Pembina Trails Collegiate. Previously, she was the head coach of the Varsity Boys team at Morden Collegiate for 7 years. Ashley is the 2023 Mike MacKay Transformational Coach Award winner, and in 2019, she was named MHSAA Female Coach of the Year among all sports.
In 2013, Ashley graduated from the University of Winnipeg and Red River College’s joint program in Business Technology Teacher Education. Ashley is currently a technology high school teacher at Pembina Trails Collegiate.
